The staff is super nice and helpful. Kindly recommended us a delivery service including their current offers. Delivery to the room.
The photos promised more. Unfortunately the carpet has a lot of stains which just doesn't look nice.

There was no restaurant service, as the page said. The elevator didn't work. The bathroom didn't have toilet paper.

The staff at this hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful. Additionally, the hotel's location was fantastic as it was close to many restaurants and historical monuments. The cleanliness of the hotel facilities was impressive and there was even parking available on site.
Nothing to complain about at all.

I liked the design, its antique nature, size of the room
Airconditioner was not working. No shower cap I had to request the shower cap. No bed side lamp. Breakfast time was not adhered to, it was indicated that breakfast start at 7am, but staff and food available at 7h20. No hot milk even at the time.

Great view of the city lights from the room and lovely staff, who were very friendly and welcoming upon arrival. the restaurant offered a variety of delicious, locally-sourced dishes to choose from, catering to all dietary needs. the location was perfect for exploring the sights within walking distance.
The bathroom smelled of mold and was poorly maintained, with stained tiles and old fixtures. the noise level from the traffic outside was extremely high, making it difficult to sleep even with earplugs.

The hotel was conveniently situated for our purposes and the room was extremely comfortable and well appointed.
The situation of the hotel was reasonably noisy at night and unfortunately there was a large delegation from a political party who were coming and going all night. We did not feel that as a 4 star hotel it provided what we would expect eg. No ladies bar

The hotel is an absolute gem in a now impoverished part of town. Great atmosphere and period 'feel'. Really appreciated the free upgrade to a suite.
No permanent bar. The hotel should invest in bringing the area to life

Despite being in an old part of town, we found some great restaurants nearby. It was a short stroll to see the historic monuments, and the beach was only a short drive away. the room was surprisingly spacious and clean, with a cozy bathroom. the friendly staff made sure we had a delicious breakfast every morning. the hotel also had secure parking available for our rental car and a lovely garden.
The hotel was in need of some maintenance work.

Only stayed one night
I did not like the location. It was too close to that African Jazz club with the pub across the road and there were many people walking around drunk. This left us feeling it was not a safe location.

Great renovated rooms with some old charm. Very comfortable and well proportioned rooms.
My room faced onto the nightclub across the road which was a little noisy on Friday and Saturday night but not a major issue. Breakfast dining was a little confusing on one of the days.

Our experience at the hotel was marred by several negative aspects. the air conditioning in our room was not working, making it uncomfortable to sleep at night.
